Kellie Rucker is an acclaimed American roots music artist whose fiery harmonica mastery and powerful vocals have electrified audiences around the globe. Standing just five feet tall, she delivers a commanding stage presence and a signature sound that fuses blues, country, and rock into an unforgettable musical experience.

With a career spanning more than four decades, Rucker has performed alongside legendary artists including Dizzy Gillespie, Stephen Stills, Albert Collins, James Cotton, ZZ Top, Dan Hicks, Warren Zevon, Little Feat, and B.B. King. As a recording artist, she has released three solo albums—Ain’t Hit Bottom, Church of Texas, and Soul Return (Dixie Frog Records)—as well as Best of Kellie Rucker. Her forthcoming release, Criminal Record, is scheduled for 2026.

Beyond her solo work, Rucker has collaborated extensively as a recording and touring musician.

While based in Los Angeles, Kellie spent five years as a vital voice and harmonica force in the B.B. Chung King and the Screaming Buddaheads band, also working with Grammy nominee, Jon Butcher. Her versatility has led to performances and studio work with L.A. Guns, Corey Stevens, and on various recordings as a studio musician in the rock, country and jazz worlds. She has played on numerous TV commercials, also applying her skills on film and television soundtracks, and productions in both the U.S. and Europe.

Born in Oklahoma City, Rucker discovered the harmonica at age twelve and was soon frequenting blues clubs in New England, taking inspiration from artists like James Cotton, Johnny Winter, Roomful of Blues, and Bonnie Raitt. She formed her first blues band, Blues for Breakfast, in Denver, Colorado, and went on to tour Scandinavia with the Bill Blue Band before joining Albert Collins’ guitarist Debbie Davies for extensive West Coast tours.

Today, Rucker continues to tour extensively throughout Europe, performing in Italy, Germany, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, and Sweden. Between tours, she is actively writing and recording new material, further establishing herself as one of the most dynamic voices around.
